If Feed Water for the Desalinator is chlorinated - it is essential that an Activated Carbon Filter be installed to remove the Chlorine. Chlorine causes irreversible damage to the TFC membranes.
For High purity water - "polishing" deioniser cartridges (or stage 2 units) are available for each model.
EXP denotes Expandable relating to Volume produced. The installation of additional Membrane Module & minor plumbing modifications will be required. The volume produced will increase to equal that of the next size up.
